@AndrewHenry I often wonder about who will find the remains of our civilization. What folk memories will they have of us? Will they blame us for the collapse of their world, or just be grateful we're gone? Or maybe just not consider us at all, and ignore the random detritus they come across as of no interest beyond perhaps being a source of metal or glass for their own needs.

Do we deserve to be remembered well.... Or even at all?

Either way, when you look at the 250,000-300,000 years of humans, the less than 2% of our history that has occured since the agricultural revolution is one very weird blip.... but still just a blip.
