Had big plans for NYE. I was going to put together the lovely mid-century modern flat pack desk I ordered weeks ago, which (finally) arrived today. But it’s missing a part FFS. There’s 2020 ruined.

Trump wurde abgewählt, K2 darf Filme ab 12 gucken, Weltklima und die Umwelt konnten ein klitzekleinesbisschen aufatmen, wir durften durch einen megaglücklichen Zufall im Sommer nach Norwegen fahren, der AfD-Aufschwung wurde gestoppt, der Vater Großvater ist gegen alle Wahrscheinlichkeit noch unter uns, Maria und ich haben einen neuen Podcast gestartet.

My brother has the covid- oddly NOT the brother who works at Costco. He's been sick since Thursday with what feels like a nasty cold, so hopefully it's not going to get any worse.

Also he and I were going to drive to my parents' house in two weeks and now that's all up in the air, so that's fun.
