The Red Cross Shelter located at New Life Christian Fellowship will be closing today at 12:00 noon per Cal Fire.

Evacuations for the following areas have been reduced to an Evacuation Warning and are now open to residents only. Residents will need to show identification at each road closure.

Hospital Road including all side roads: Grosjean, Alta Vista, Avoca Vale, Old Highway North

Be aware that heavy fire and emergency traffic will remain in the area as fire suppression/repair efforts continue...

The fire is now 908 acres and 20% contained per The National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC).

Highway 140 is open through to Yosemite National Park with no restrictions.

Air Attack is currently over the fire and has requested a total of 6 helicopters to be assigned to the fire per radio traffic. Units and 5 dozers have been sent to Allred Road to build containment lines.
