Sea ice extent in the Bering Sea has very likely reached its maximum for the season in NSIDC data. Current extent is the highest for March 28 since 2013. Unlike the record spring of 2012, extent is much above normal in the eastern Bering Sea but below normal on the Russian side. @Climatologist49 @ZLabe

By the way, it's my weather-duty to point out Sitka broke the low-temp record on the 28th. We went to 27F, which beat the old record of 28F, set in 1982.
