Rock climber Alex Honnold climbs the Taipei 101 skyscraper, one of Asia’s tallest skyscrapers. Honnold climbed the building without ropes or a harness on Sunday, fulfilling an ambition that began more than a decade ago and which he hoped would inspire people to pursue their own challenges because ‘time is finite’.

Still thinking about my time on El Capitan. Easily one of the most intense experiences of my life.

With Honnold making headlines in Taipei, it really puts the scale of El Cap into perspective. I can’t even imagine doing that wall without a rope. Absolute madness.
