Marcello Sacchetta è stato la “mente” della coreografia iconica che ha accompagnato Sal Da Vinci sul palco di Eurovision Song Contest 2026. Sulle note di “Per sempre sì” il coreografo e ballerino si preparava per sposare la bellissima Francesca Tocca. C’è anche chi ha notato un feeling particolare, specie al momento del bacio, tra i due tanto che Gabriele Parpiglia toglie qualsiasi dubbio, indicandoli come coppia di fatto.
Il diretto interessato in una intervista a Libero ha affermato: “Quando ho dovuto pensare a una partner per il progetto di Per Sempre Sì, mi è subito venuta in mente Francesca. Noi ci conosciamo dai tempi di Amici e noi ballerini, quando realizziamo qualcosa, sentiamo tanto il feeling. Avevamo in mente di realizzare quella parte finale e ho scelto lei anche per una questione di immagine. Francesca è una donna adulta, una professionista e con tanta esperienza alle spalle: secondo me l’immagine di noi due insieme andava benissimo. Avevo bisogno di una persona formata su quel palcoscenico, e la sceglierei altre mille volte”.
Sulle polemiche scatenate dopo le parole del coreografo di fama internazionale Giuliano Peparini che avrebbe ravvisato delle somiglianze con uno dei suoi ‘quadri’ realizzati per il Serale di “Amici” nel 2018, Sacchetta ha ribadito: “Mi viene da sorridere perché io non ricordo questa performance di Amici di cui si parla. Nel programma, per ogni Serale di ciascuna edizione, facevamo una quantità enorme di coreografie e “quadri”. Quando ho letto questa dichiarazione di Giuliano Peparini, un po’ mi è dispiaciuto e ho pensato che lui non si fosse espresso bene”.
E ancora: “Se le persone hanno però pensato questo, per me è un grande complimento, proprio per la stima che ho nei suoi confronti. Negli anni di Amici, lo stesso Peparini mi ha dato la possibilità di creare in prima persona delle coreografie. Penso che ci sia stato un malinteso, perché non credo sia proprio da lui dire determinate cose. Posso però confermare che è stata tutta farina del nostro sacco”.

Marcello Sacchetta was the “brain” behind the iconic choreography that accompanied Sal Da Vinci on stage at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. On the notes of “Per Sempre Sì” (Forever Yes), the choreographer and dancer was preparing to marry the beautiful Francesca Tocca. Some even noted a particular feeling, especially during the kiss, between the two, to the point that Gabriele Parpiglia eliminated any doubts, identifying them as a de facto couple.
The direct subject in an interview with Libero stated: “When I had to think of a partner for the ‘Per Sempre Sì’ project, Francesca immediately came to mind for me. We’ve known each other since the days of ‘Amici’ (Friends), and as dancers, when we realize something, we really feel the connection. We had planned to create that final part and I chose her also for a matter of image. Francesca is a grown woman, a professional, and with a lot of experience behind her: in my opinion, the image of us together worked perfectly. I needed someone trained on that stage, and I would choose her a thousand times more.”
Regarding the controversies sparked after the words of internationally renowned choreographer Giuliano Peparini, who had noted similarities with one of his “sets” created for the “Amici” Evening Show in 2018, Sacchetta reaffirmed: “I laugh because I don’t remember this ‘Amici’ performance they’re talking about. In the program, for each Evening Show of each edition, we did an enormous amount of choreography and “sets.” When I read Peparini’s statement, I was a little saddened and thought he hadn’t expressed himself well.”
And he added: “If people have thought this, for me it’s a great compliment, purely out of the respect I have for him. During the years of ‘Amici’, the same Peparini gave me the opportunity to create choreography myself. I think there was a misunderstanding, because I don’t believe he would say certain things. However, I can confirm that it was all our own work.”
