If someone was/is thinking that only based on sanctions and air power, the regime of #Iran would be toppled or its behavior would change, he was smoking something very potent. Sanctions and Air power are never sufficient to overthrow any regime or change its behavior. Nazi Germany, Imperial Japan, Iraq, the first Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, ISIS, etc. all required boots on the ground.
