[RonLeo] I hope one day I can have a garden of native plants. There are wild roses and hibiscus around here that are beautiful. And a few bulb flowers. I will have to go investigate them and see how much sunlight they get and what kind of soil they are growing in.

Had my first post-op visit with my doctor today. Said it looked good. But still a little too "wet" for Erin to start handling the bandage changes herself. So he wants me back this Thursday.
I have 7 sutures on a 5 inch long incision straight down the bottom of my foot. I can't put ANY weight on it for 6 to 8 weeks. So I'll be in the chair for a bit.
After that, he said he's going to put me into an AFO brace. I'll be in that for a time, then surgery to fix tendons in my foot and calf.
The positive thing was I didn't have to have a picc line because Erin and I couldn't afford to pay for it out of pocket. Being poor for the win!!
