Yeah, NAVCAM images showing parts of the rover help get a good feeling of the vicinity.

I think the last image showing Ingenuity was back on Sol 915, #Flight59.

Part of #Ingenuity's popup #Flight59, as captured by #Perseverance from 380m afar.

#Ingenuity captured this sequence while ascending to 20m above the ground in its latest "popup" #Flight59.

#Ingenuity's jumped 20m high in #Flight59 and here the shadow shows its blades as if they were moving in slow motion:

What will #Ingenuity be able to see from a height of 20m during its popup #Flight59?

Here is a visibility plot from that location, made with #QGIS with data from #MMGIS and DTM by #USGS and #HiRISE

#Ingenuity's popup #Flight59, scheduled for tomorrow, will take off and land here (#Flight58 landing). If the #MarsHelicopter does a 180° turn, then we might be able to see a few pixels of #Perseverance from ~390m away and 20m high in the air. 🥴

Born to fly 🚁 !

#Ingenuity can't sit still at a place for too long. And if #Perseverance is tied up with its rocky business, the #MarsHelicopter can try some new tricks without moving too far, or at all 😀

#Flight59 is coming up on Saturday, Sep 16, and it will be a popup flight up to a 20m altitude, another first! The previous record was 18m, #Flight50.
