It sucks to be laid off (damn tech and their cost savings), but I must admit I forgot how it is to run your own business (with all the good and bad) and it’s been so much more fun in the last 6-8 weeks working on #FlatTurtle (optimising Puppet, upgrading everything to Bookworm, improving monitoring, reaching out to old customers, etc) than the last 1.5 year at #Cloudflare. Man that company was not fun.

Man… making websites (even with the Wixes and Webflows and Squarespaces that exist nowadays) isn’t fun.

Been updating our website (https://flatturtle.com/) that’s like 7 years old or something and super crap and doesn’t really say what it’s supposed to say. We started 3-4 years ago on https://flatturtle.webflow.io/ and never finished it (always something more important)…

But I’ve now made it my goal to finish a new version using Unicorn Platform (seems the simplest) in the coming days.
