Film or digital?
It’s not just about grain vs pixels. It’s about how you frame, wait, and notice.
I grew up with film and shoot digital now, but my approach is still analogue at heart:
36 thoughtful shots > 3000 throwaways.
Wedding photography isn't about gear. It's about memory.

I've photographed bears in Alaska twice, just a month shy of 35 years apart. Here are examples of both. (Ignore the fact that my technique has improved in 35 years and focus on the image quality)
The second image was taken on Kodachrome 64 slide film, which was high-quality film at the time. Supposedly, it was some of the best film for archival purposes.
As you can see, though, it falls far short of what modern digital images are capable of. I know some folks still really like film, and I'm sure I'll hear the reasons, but this is an illustration of just one reason why I will never go back to film.
every now and again a machine will stop you in your tracks and force you to take it in.

Comedian Rodney Laney reminisces about the bygone days of film photography.
The doorman asked if my X100V was a film camera. I informed him it's digital. We spoke of how he was a professional photographer once upon a time. He even worked for the AP, shooting F1s and Leicas, and would process and print in his own darkroom. He hasn't shot in years. I encouraged him to give digital a chance or try shooting film and having it scanned. He said it wasn't for him. It was about the Art.
Take pictures with what's on hand. Art will follow.
