Yes! I caught it on picture! This season has levelled up the fight choreography too, not just in flow but in creative weird tricks. Here Lu Lingfeng has just made a master archer turn his bow backwards and shoot. I'm not sure if the script gave the choreographer a headache, but they really pulled it off!

As a huge fan of high quality #action movies, we really, really need to normalize the phrase "One track."
There's nothing wrong with excellent #fightchoreography not being done in one singular take, as long as it feels enough like it is.
Sure, it's impressive if it is one take, but I'd argue the spirit of one take is more important than the verb of one take. This scene for example, is not one take. There are chops hidden throughout, but who cares? It's still "One track".

Boys! Boys. You are _both_ pretty! You can stop fighting now!
(Some fights in this series is kinda' plastered on to enhance awesomeness, which grates me slightly. But they're commendably short, and this one has _awesome_ camera work and choreography.)

keeping up with some #German flicks and also #ActionFlicks, found this little oddity on #YouTube and decided it was worthy of a #MovieReview. #ActionMovie #Movies #Kino

This is an INCREDIBLE little #film.
I love #stopmotion #animation (#Laika > #Pixar, all day every day and twice on Sunday). It’s so real and tangible, with a sense of space, depth, and light that CGI just can’t capture.
But I didn’t know how bad-ass #fighting in stop-motion could be. The world needs more stop-motion fight sequences.

This is a fight from the most recent Star Wars series.
What's baffling to me is just how bad it is in places. I mean, parts of the fight choreography here looks (to me) seriously inept. It really feels like some of the stage instructions were "just touch your lightsabers together a few times and we'll make it look good in post".
At least James Earl Jones knocks it out of the park.
