Why do fanboys always say this? Do they think they’re bringing an idea to the table that other person never considered? Or are they just projecting?
Don’t tell me how to think. #Nintendo #Switch2 is a handheld/console hybrid. I’ll compare to both home consoles AND handhelds.

P.S. Not once have I used my Switch 2 in handheld mode. (Yet. Will eventually get around to playing it handheld for #WelcomeTour.) It is my home console. Does that make me a damned unicorn or something? I also played the #Switch 1 on my TV 99.99% of the time and had no problems with comparing it to other consoles.

I disagree with your assessment to some extent, as on #Linux there's not much of a tolerace or even acceptance of #rootkits like #CorwdStrike for all the right reasons!
- #Scareware like that has no legitimate reason to exist and the only place I've seen that is on #Windows because people distrusting #WindowsDefender and thus #Microsoft are unwilling to to what is evidently the correct solution and yeet Windows for good.
Cuz it's not about #Fanboyism, but a fact that most Windows - #Sysadmins (or rather decisionmakers for that matter) seem to be high on #Copium and refuse to take actual #consequences but accept the #Enshittification as a fact of life when it's not...
- Or am I the only one who remembers the rightful backclash when #ads were shoved into #Ubuntu whilst on #Windows11 and #Windows10 people just seem to shrug their shoulders?

People losing their minds over #Palworld, and here I am, dusting off my #Playstation 4 and playing through #TheLegendOfDragoon while my smartphone is in a rocker to hatch eggs in #PokemonGO.
Do I care that Palworld rips off #Pokémon designs? No. Why should I? Pokémon could use some healthy competition, for Pete’s sake. I think the game looks really neat and hope it’s successful. I also think #GameFreak should take notes.
People who scream “ripoff” all the time need to get over themselves. Why gatekeep a genre? Let others have their fun. Get outta here with that #fanboyism. #Nintendo doesn’t care about you being a Keyboard Warrior.
So why am I not hopping on the #gaming bandwagon and rushing to download Palworld? I’m just not interested in survival games is all. I like #Minecraft once in a blue moon, but that genre just isn’t for me.

Can’t help but 🤦♂️ when reading fanboy comments on Nintendo Life that defend Red Dead Redemption on Switch.

Wanting a game to include the online multiplayer mode that it originally had makes one entitled? I’ll complain all I want to, thank you very much!
Calling the Switch version barebones makes one entitled? Right….
I just recently bought Red Dead Redemption: Game of the Year Edition (360|Xbox One reprint) to play on my Xbox Series X. It will be playable in 4K, include all the pre-order DLC and Red Dead Nightmare, AND ONLINE MULTIPLAYER…all for $28.99, new off Amazon. All of that and it costs $20+ cheaper than the Switch version.
If you can’t recognize the problem here, fine. But don’t be a fanboy and act like a jerk to people who aren’t expecting more, but merely expecting parity. That’s all I ask.
