This'll be my last fall finish along entry here. I'll add a name for my cousin's son this weekend and this little Christmas gift will be complete.

@venite What a beautiful sweater for a beautiful recipient! Yay! #FallFinishAlong_FOs
I don’t blame her for putting it on right away! Who could resist????

Done! Took a couple months since I kept this one explicitly at work, but it's finally finished. With Lakitus and stoplight the race is ready to start! This was done on 14 count Lincoln, my mother-in-law corrected me on the fabric, with three threads.
The project itself was fun, progress felt very good, but I'm not a fan of three threads. I couldn't pin stitch well with it so towards the end I started burying my thread.
Another one done for the #FallFinishAlong
Dug this out of hibernation to finish up for my niece's birthday next month.
Honestly, the pattern sucked. It wasn't that complicated but the instructions are SO terrible. And it's not just me, there's whole blogs about it, lmao.
So I fought with this every step of the way, and I'm so glad to have it done and blocking. Didn't pin it because I wanted to see how it'd dry when my sister washes it.
On the first Friday of the month, I release a new free pattern for my Ko-fi supporters! And this month, because I am uniquely creative, it's Halloween-themed.
If you're a supporter already then a) ILY 🧡 and b) go grab your freebie for the pattern stash! https://ko-fi.com/thegiddystitcher/shop
If you're not, and you feel sad to miss out on spooky stitching, never fear! In the shop you'll also find this completely free biscornu pattern that is cute as anything if I do say so myself. Plus there's a slightly dated and awkward video tutorial to go with it, if like me you are bemused by the geometry of biscornus 😁
:blobhaj_pumpkin_face: Happy October! :blobhaj_pumpkin_face:
(Oh and ps finishing the spooky house sample stitch was the last thing on my list for #FallFinishAlong so...nailed it!)
