Our long-term payment provider Nexi has terminated our contract without prior notice. As a result, our supporters’ recurring credit card and direct debit donations have been halted by them. This affects more than 450 FSFE supporters, whom we have already informed by email.

Because I know some folks might benefit from a reminder whenever this org comes up: FSFE has no connection with FSF. They severed all ties in 2021. https://fsfe.org/news/2021/news-20210324-01.html

SignalrauschenDer Zahlungsdienstleister Nexi hat der @fsfe ohne Vorankündigung gekündigt – rückwirkend zum 7. März 2026. Über 450 Spender sind betroffen, deren Lastschrift- oder Kreditkartenzahlungen nicht mehr verarbeitet werden.
Auslöser: Nexi forderte Zugriff auf vertrauliche Supporter-Daten, was die FSFE verweigerte. Nexi spricht nachträglich von einem „Missverständnis” wegen Test-Zugangsdaten.
