Dear #Prague this one is for you

@Aethel I definitely would not say that the majority of Czechs support them at all. They're a very small party. But generally I think that the Czech Republic definitely has a car brain mentality that needs to change. It is changing but slowly, a bit too slow for me. I'm really opposed to car culture.
Prague is particularly bad because its the biggest city. I am not kidding when I say at least once a week someone almost runs me over. I walk more than the average person though. #fckcars
"Traffic lights are for cars and without cars, we don't need traffic lights!"

Comment by @Rentlar:
It's pretty telling of the fact that:
Car-free streets and workable alternatives to driving, provide people the freedom that car ads are portraying.

Great video by Jason McBason about why cars suck so much.

"#Driving sucks. Car culture sucks. Needing a car, being car-poor, traffic, driving in general. It's all bad And bad driving has become normalized. This commentary is a rant about car-dependence, car culture, and how annoying it is to need a car rather than being car-free. Car-centric places are dangerous and stressful. But it is possible to have #walkablecities with mass transit designed for pedestrians, cyclists who want to bike, and public transportation."
