I need to visit an air museum one of these days

It’s been so long and I have a much better grasp of the technical aspects of the planes now than I did when I was 14.

One example was this ugly-looking piece of junk. I couldn’t tell you the name of it nor the era or significance of it being here. I didn’t know if it was experimental or saw action overseas. It didn’t look all that cool and I wasn’t all that interested. Upon the encouragement of one or both of my parents, I took one good pic from a distance and moved on to things I understood better. Things like the B-17 Flying Fortress and the P-51 Mustang.

I now know what this plane was and its significance. It’s not my favourite by any means but I can at least appreciate it more now.
