Good to see increasing use of the term #ExtremeWealth as sometimes you have to name a thing before you can tackle it. When I was growing up, extreme poverty was increasingly viewed as obscene and worthy of coordinated action. It’s (past) time to do the same thing at the other end of the spectrum.

We might also need to deploy some psychoanalysis of what makes people unable to stop getting so much stuff that even they can't comprehend how much they have. If they weren't crazy during the initial phases of stuff-piling, they almost to the person are mentally disabled once they acquire too much stuff.

There cannot be both a future for a rich, healthy #biosphere AND #extremewealth. Extreme wealth is begotten of sociopathy and persists by it. It will always prioritise itself and expropriate resources needed to protect the planet and the rest of life. It will always exploit because it cannot accumulate more wealth in any other way.
