As I've been reviewing old sketchbooks, I've discovered a few scattered print that I've lost the corresponding negatives for.
This set is from a roll taken in high school and later printed as a contact sheet, which I cut up and pasted into my sketchbook. 1-3 are flipped and corrected versions of the original contact prints. 4-7 show the original prints and flipped versions of 1 and 3.
Judging from context, I would have printed these in October or November of 1996, when I was working on my first-semester photo project in college. These might have been taken with my first Pentax K1000, which I received for my 18th birthday, meaning they would've been taken in May, right before I graduated high school. But it's a bit difficult to surmise from the quality of the photos. They were definitely taken on the grounds of the MO State Capital, where teenagers used to hang out. Both photos appear to be of one of the fountains there.
Tonal correction in Photoshop w/minimal spot corrections. Dust and other flaws are consistent w/quality of prints. 1-2 are clearly the same frame printed w/different settings.
