In this piece, a photographic image of a spiderweb has been transferred onto silk. Upon this delicate surface, silver thread embroidery highlights and simultaneously alters certain lines of the web. Light—whether natural or artificial—activates the metallic thread, making the piece shimmer as if it were holding a secret.
