That alone was already pretty damn awesome right there. But the heads-up Ranger defense also nab Altuve on appeal because the weasel forgot to re-touch 2nd base on his return to 1st.
I literally burst out laughing and hollering at my computer screen. What a feel-good moment.
The series is far from over, but it's off to a GREAT start.

Bottom 8th, Bregman hits a deep one to the left center. All the Houston fans in the stadium are going nuts because they think it's a game-tying two-run homer (and rightfully so; the ball looked gone off the bat).
But Evan Carter, defensively brilliant all game, makes another brilliant play with a leaping catch in the deepest point of the park, silencing the crowd.
