My toxic ADD trait is, that i live in the illusion i could learn to play this instrument because the musician makes the first 6 notes seem to be played so easily until i regret my life choices because it is actually hard and i have no idea what i am doing
But here is really no teachers for this nearby or in a reach that is realistic to drive to once a week.
I love Jia Peng Fang's music and respect his talent, his subtle touch and his nuance, on the Erhu, but God, do his songs all sound the same
It is still on the harddisk, a full album with Lei Qiang playing traditional Chinese Erhu .
I am very glad with that.

I find #starwars #music scores a bit boring. They had a great impact 30 years ago, I didn't quiet like them, but they were impactful in general. That wouldn't be interesting at all, it's all about musical taste. I love instrumental music (both classical and contemporary), I think it's all goes down to John Williams, and his work is just not my type (which is funny because on the other hand I love Gustav Holst's work). Anyway...
Recently I found a gem that surprised me.
The Force Suite. That was good, but not good enough to put it on a playlist and listen every now and then. Until I met Eliott Tordo's cover of this piece. I know I have a strong bias towards piano, #erhu, and guzheng, but I think this one is an exceptionally good cover. I think this is the first Star Wars related piece on any of my playlists (original or cover).
I'm not sure which one is better to share youtube or spotify, but I think yotube is easier to access from various tracker-less methods:
