Today we visited a beautiful local market filled with fresh #organicfoods like potatoes, cassava, avocados, and passion fruits as seen on the photos😊

As farmers at #EYN, we felt truly motivated and inspired to continue promoting and producing healthy organic foods for our communities

And to friends who think food only comes from supermarkets… ohh no 😂 it all begins from the #soil!

Hi friends, join us as we see small progress on our land. EYN is celebrating what others may call a small achievement smile with us and be part of our journey to fight hidden hunger in our communities through sustainable farming. @econetwork

We are excited to share what is growing on our land Though we recently planted new bananas, we already have some ready to eat fresh and truly ours 💪We also have maize (corn) a staple crop with golden kernels, great for food and flour, It is widely used by schools, and where its flour is cooked into posho, a common and filling meal. We are grateful for the rains still blessing our land as our bananas continue to grow strong.🍌 🌽 #FarmingLife #Gratitude #SustainableLiving #Harvest #Blessed #EYN
Just to let you know, my new profile picture is nothing to worry about 😊 I just decided to change it and use a photo where I’m wearing the EYN t-shirt. It represents me well and what I stand for.

This beautiful illustration titled “Uganda Nature Is Our Pride” was drawn by Jordan, a young student from Namayumba Town Council. His artwork shows how much children love and value nature. We hope to work with his school soon, and we are inspired by his passion and readiness to join our mission.

At the market today, EYN met an old man collecting dropped pieces of food to survive. We have seen him many times, and his struggle shows how much work still needs to be done to fight hunger in our communities. As EYN, we believe we must join together to support elders and children without parents. No one should live without hope.https://www.gofundme.com/f/buying-land-eco-youths-network-uganda/cl/s?utm_campaign=fp_sharesheet&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=copy_link&lang=de_DE

Mulching helps protect and improve soil by covering it with dry leaves, grass, or crop remains. It conserves moisture, prevents erosion, controls weeds, and adds organic nutrients as it decomposes. This simple method boosts crop yields and supports climate resilience... try to use it in your garden your will thank me later
