This year six researchers are receiving the highest scientific awards in the Netherlands: the NWO Spinoza Prize and the NWO Stevin Prize. Thea Hilhorst, Klaas Landsman, Corné Pieterse and Ignas Snellen are this year’s recipients of the Spinoza Prize. The Stevin Prizes are going to Bas Bloem and Tanja van der Lippe. The laureates will each receive 2.5 million euros for further academic research and activities related to knowledge utilisation.
