These coots seemed completely oblivious to the amazing scenery around them. Alpenglow, the orange-coloured first light of the day, falls on the towering mountains in the background, with the Cristallo massif on the left, with four peaks of over 3000 metres, of which Monte Cristallo is the highest, with a height of 3221 metres.
