LA NOTIZIA: Meteo, un maxi vortice dalla Scozia è in viaggio verso l’Italia e porterà pioggia, vento e mezzo metro di neve sulle Alpi
Dopo tre settimane di sole quasi ostinato, con temperature fuori stagione, e quella sensazione di una primavera anticipata, sembra intravedersi all’orizzonte un nuovo cambiamento climatico.
Secondo il meteorologo Lorenzo Tedici di iLMeteo.it, un profondo vortice nord atlantico sta puntando dritto verso il Mediterraneo. Parte dalla Scozia e corre fino alla Libia: tremila chilometri in tre giorni. Un viaggio rapido con la forte perturbazione che, com’è facilmente intuibile, attraverserà l’Italia.
Cambia il meteo
L’impatto di questo fronte metereologico ci sarà tra sabato e domenica quando assisteremo a un ritorno dell’inverno che porterà piogge diffuse, raffiche di vento e un calo termico che potrebbe superare i cinque gradi.
Ma il vero spettacolo si vedrà in montagna dove, a sorpresa, potrebbero tornare le nevicate. Assolute protagoniste del periodo saranno le Dolomiti con le simulazioni che prevedono oltre mezzo metro di neve fresca sopra i 1400 metri.
C’è di più, il vortice in arrivo corre a circa mille chilometri al giorno e con una simile velocità non si possono escludere cambi di rotta improvvisi, capaci di deviare radicalmente rispetto alle previsioni meteo.
I prossimi giorni porteranno tempo instabile
Quel che è certo è che il clima sta già cambiando. Martedì sono previste piogge sparse al Nord-Ovest e qualche scroscio tra Toscana e Appennino. Mercoledì il cielo sarà spesso nuvoloso al Nord, mentre il Sud vedrà cielo relativamente sereno anche se talvolta potranno verificarsi acquazzoni pomeridiani sui rilievi. Giovedì la perturbazione porterà piogge diffuse tra Liguria, Lombardia meridionale, Emilia, e anche in gran parte del Centro Italia.

After three weeks of almost stubborn sunshine, with out-of-season temperatures, and the feeling of an early spring, a new climate change appears to be visible on the horizon.
According to meteorologist Lorenzo Tedici of iLMeteo.it, a deep north Atlantic vortex is heading straight for the Mediterranean. It starts in Scotland and runs all the way to Libya: three thousand kilometers in three days. A quick journey with the strong disturbance, which, as easily intuited, will cross Italy.
Changes in the weather
The impact of this meteorological front will be between Saturday and Sunday when we will witness a return of winter bringing widespread rain, gusts of wind and a drop in temperature that could exceed five degrees.
But the real spectacle will be seen in the mountains, where, to everyone’s surprise, snowfalls could return. The Dolomites will be absolute protagonists of the period, with simulations predicting over half a meter of fresh snow above 1400 meters.
There is more, the vortex arriving travels at approximately one thousand kilometers a day and with such speed, sudden changes in direction are not ruled out, capable of deviating radically from weather forecasts.
The next few days will bring unstable weather
What is certain is that the climate is already changing. On Tuesday, scattered showers are expected in Northwest Italy and a few downpours between Tuscany and the Apennines. On Wednesday, the sky will be mostly cloudy in the North, while the South will see relatively clear skies, although occasional afternoon showers may occur in the hills. On Thursday, the disturbance will bring widespread rain in Liguria, Southern Lombardy, Emilia, and much of Central Italy.
