#DocumentaryNow took a long time to grow on me. It's the way SCTV was - no punchlines, just funny situations.
If you were humor-deficient, you'd think these were real documentaries. That's how carefully they're made. In, "Waiting for the Artist." nearly all of the performance-art parodies would work as legit performance art. Cynics would say that says something about the form. It says more about the people making the show.
