#Iwatched #Tombstone (1993) and it tries way too hard to mythologize its characters for no reason. The enemies of the Earp bros are little more than a bullish nuisance and gun fodder for stylized montages here. Wives are garnish, Wyatt wears plot armor and his extra-marital romance falls flat. There are valiant acting efforts by #KurtRussell and especially #ValKilmer as TB diseased #DocHolliday, who justifies all the killing as follows: "Bad guys want revenge for being born." Enough said.
