I hope in the next version of #DND they finally make it a game mechanic that wizards have to have a Last Will and Testament in their equipment list before they can prepare their first 3rd level spell. Or maybe before they're allowed to add bat guano to their spell pouch.

The GM tonight is running the game on Roll20, which is pushing out a modernized UX/UI redesign for better managing layers about 5-7 years too late. So many game evenings made needlessly stressful by Roll20 fog of war layers.

Roll20 is the default only because it was good enough and free for most things. DnDOne must have them in a panic. I have no plans to ever play DnDOne, but if it pushes Roll20 into building something functional on a tablet, at least it did something good for the hobby. #roll20 #vtt #dndone

WOTC just waved the white flag.

OGL 1.0a is staying and the SRD for 5e is now Creative Commons!

I never expected that result.

Still, I am very curious for what's next, and how they try to come for our cash.

I don't use the OGL for my system neutral PDFs on DriveThruRPG, so it didn't affect me.
