Wholesale access is an important tool but with #Bell and #TELUS buying up the bigger independents like #Distributel, #StartCA & #Altima, the wireline landscape, at least from an outsider's perspective is starting to look like the wireless landscape all over again...

The #Big3 #Telco in #Canada have been quietly buying up small #ISPs. Last year, #Bell quietly bought out #Distributel & #VMedia. It is now reported that #Telus has bought out #Altima & #StartCA.

How many more small #ISPs will they gobble up? Hopefully #TekSavvy wouldn't get swallowed up next...
