So I have had a chance to taste some really awesome food. The first time was on Sunday when one of my Home Care workers brought me a bag of homemade baked goods which included cinnamon rolls, blueberry muffins, and some sort of a small chocolate cake or chocolate bread. Not only that, but last night I was pleasantly surprised with dinner from my GF. Southwestern style eggrolls from Chili’s, which I hadn’t had in years. So something amazing happened to me tonight. OK so maybe it’s not huge, but to me it’s a very small act of kindness, but it means so much. I have some neighbors across the hall. We don’t really hang out on a regular basis, but we have interacted a few times. She helped me out back in 2022 when there was a fire in my building and I needed to get out quickly. She took my Chihuahua, so that the firemen could grab me and get me out of the building. She was actually going to grab onto me herself right when he showed up. I guess what I’m trying to say is a little bit of kindness goes the whole way. That being said, tonight she brought me over some food that they had extra of after tonight‘s meal, with no asking on my part. #Kindness #Giving #Food #Cooking #DiningAndCooking.
