Queefing Mimsy (Lamprocapnos/Dicentra spectabilis) - one of my favourite spring-time flowers.
[Or “Bleeding Heart” if you prefer, though heaven knows why you would]
Dutchmen's Britches, a native member of the Fumariaceae (Bleeding-Heart Family), sometimes treated as a subfamily of the Papaveraceae (Poppy Family).
Like the poppies, it has two sepals, and two series of petals. In this case, both series have two petals. The lower series is inflated to form the white 'pantaloons', and the inner petals form a yellow beak that peaks out from the 'waist' of the pantaloons.
