Right now, I'm going through my list of registered accounts to delete data from services I don't use anymore. It's been a frustrating experience; every site handles deletion differently, often making it nearly impossible. Some don't even allow direct deletion, forcing me to send emails and wait.
Deleting accounts shouldn’t be a bureaucratic nightmare. We own our data and identity.

I just deleted my Bluesky account because two people I know complained and left Bluesky. The reason is unclear, but at least my AI told me that Bluesky is less relevant in data sovereignty, including the checkmark given to ICE.

What To Do When You Can't Delete An Account!
#Amazon is funny. Tried to delete my account since long period of inactivity — but can't even login because they asking for video selfie (!) and photos (!) of goverment issued ID (!).
Even the bank or goverment accounts don't ask me such things to login — just a plain login/password/2FA. Lol, there are no any orders or working bank card (since Visa/Mastercard stopped working here) in my account

Anybody have an idea of what I should do? I've been trying to delete my Facebook acct for days. I have successfully deleted my Instagram acct, but FB is giving me this message every time. Is this a problem others have encountered?
I've tried using different browsers (Chrome, DuckDuckGo, Firefox, Chrome for iOS), tried turning off (or never having had) extensions, tried deleting cookies. Sigh. I just wanna kill my FB acct! Why so hard?
