Checking up on Artemis on the NASA website, I got into reading about the astronauts. Big mistake for someone my age. I feel old!

None of the four astronauts was born when Apollo last landed on the Moon in December 1972. The oldest was born in 1975.

Christine Koch, the one female astronaut aboard, was born in 1979, the year after NASA admitted its first female astronaut candidates. She has never known a time when women were not US astronauts.
