@EscGoat yeah.

Certainly a remake wouldn't be done in #RPGmaker2k but most likely #GodotEngine, #DefoldEngine or #Unity3D, because there is ample of tooling to enable the same functionality.

Today I want to start to show the educational games I do at work.

The first one is a game about cleaning trains. Made with the
#defoldengine running on a brightsign player in the train station.

If you like to have such a game for your company/exhibition, please send me a DM.

Defold Engine Adds C# Support – GameFromScratch.com

The Defold game engine just got a big boost in the 1.9.7 beta... C# language support for creating extensions (along with C++ and Zig)

@[email protected] I would probably use #Defoldengine. https://defold.com/ It's battle tested, has been used for itch.io and mobile apps already. The engine is highly performant but small because it's written in C++ but is mostly pure C and uses ECS. The scripting language is Lua, and it's free with source available. Console ports are already available, more coming later this year and early next. The tools are mostly 2D, but it's a full 3D engine, you just have to do 3D more in code than the editor.
Defold - Official Homepage - Free, small and truly cross platform game engine

Defold is a free, cross-platform game engine for building 2D and 3D games on desktop, web, mobile, and consoles with one streamlined workflow.

Defold

@ophiolith Exactly!

Consider #Defold / #DefoldEngine and #Godot / #GodotEngine instead as options.

Both also support #Consoles via commercial offerings...

that's a nice 404 page #DefoldEngine
