Following a recent discussion about supposed sensitivity to moisture / mold in straw-insulated buildings, I opened my 6-year-old #straw #retrofit #insulation with simple garden earth plaster in wet and windy northern germany. Vented reused corrugated steel roof as facade. SPOILER: #strohbau #lehm #clay #deeprenovation #wrapping #strawbuilding #strawbale it's perfectly dry.
