If you're thinking of buying a small plot of land in the Highlands for what appears to be a very reasonable price then beware: the land may have little hope of ever getting planning permission.

I've now had to sit on several planning applications relating to these sites, all of which we've refused for sound planning reasons, but still they keep coming.

Local knowledge: #DunglassRoad #Brahan near the stables also closed due to landslip

Alternative route for #Abriachan - 154 mile diversion.

Yes, inevitable given current conditions but also pretty shocking that there are #Wildfires in #Scotland in #June. You do worry that this might become “normal” all too soon, and that we forget how things used to be (always changing of course but still). #ShiftingBaselineSyndrome #ClimateDiary #Daviot
