I actually do a lot of research on early settlers here who came over from #Scotland as we had a large #Scottish contingent locally. I recently researched one from #Kiltarlity. Another old pioneer family came from #Strathconan via Australia in 1856, as many others did, so I also spend quite a lot of time in #AustralianHistory too! A huge part of my #digipres mahi (work) is #FamilyHistory #Genealogy in researching local whānau (families).
