Love dancong oolong. So floral yet substantial. This one is Saturn peach aroma. Slightly fruity and nutty. I can see where it gets it's name.

A tea friend said Dancong Oolongs are often the toughest teas to figure out, and less tea in the dose often results in better flavor/scent. Working on restraint, never my strongest suit, with this Lao Cong Man Tang Xiang Dancong Oolong from Tong Xin She Teahouse.

Tonight’s tea setup is “rather crowded”. Ya Shi Xiang Dan Cong from Yunnan Sourcing and a Duanni/Lüni teapot. This clay and its porosity helps to remove the remaining astringency and smoke and unleashes the honey and floral notes of this tea. Caramel, butter, custard cream and vanilla with a great tingling sensation in the end. It’s a nice tea that may add some warm colors into a usual stay-at-home Saturday night.
