Bei der letzten Teebestellung habe ich wieder mal den „Tee des Monats“ mitgenommen. Die Auswahl des Händlers ist nicht selten recht gut. Dieses Mal war es der Bio Xian You Honey Black. Love dancong oolong. So floral yet substantial. This one is Saturn peach aroma. Slightly fruity and nutty. I can see where it gets it's name.

❗️Problém je najít kvalitní Dancong. Snad u žádného jiného čaje jsem nenarazil na tolik padělků, jako u oolongu z pohoří Fénixe. Při hledání rozhodně doporučuji ochutnat vzorek, zejména počkat na druhý nálev. Neb mnoho listů, vydávajících se za Dancong je uměle aromatizováno, kdy vás první nálev “vystřelí” z bot. Pak přijde druhý a chuť je rázem slabá, nebo úplně pryč…

I emailed white2tea about how to store their oolong that has been pressed into bricks. I've had a handful of sour teas over the last year or so, and I'm thinking about it a lot whenever I open an oolong. The white2tea oolong ofc doesn't come in a vacuum sealed bag. I realized after this exchange that I should probably drink this tea right away before opening or buying any more oolong.

Me: How do you store bricks of oolong?
Him: Personally, I would keep them the same way as raw Puer, but it depends on your storage/goals. If you like you could also keep them very dry and sealed to maintain more aroma, whereas I’d prefer to have them more smooth over time.
Me: Ok. You don't worry about this tea becoming sour?
Him: Most any question like that will depend greatly on a lot of factors like your goals/location/preferences. Aging tea can have a lot of out comes.
