Samples of all their new raw puer offerings, a couple of different white tea cakes (was disappointed to miss out on their 2024 Mithril after trying a sample, so hoping the 2025 pressing is as good. It's lovely and refreshing on hot days). Plenty to look forward to drinking. #tea
2020 Snowflake (fall) Yashixiang (Duckshit) Phoenix Township Dancong Oolong from One River Tea. Going places.
2021 Spring Laos Green from One River Tea. This was a green tea when I got it, now the leaves have faded to brown. A bit like aged raw Liu Bao, farmer tea. Sweet, with a touch of smoke.
Well this was a very different @tea to what I've been drinking recently. 2019 wild harvest Anhua heicha from #OneRiverTea
Greeted by the aroma of pine sap, smoke and a little hint of pepper, followed by lots of vegetal umami. A much more savoury tea, but the liquor is thick and has just enough huigan to balance it out. #gongfucha
One River Tea calls this "2021 Spring Laos Green", but really it is old tree, big leaf (assamica) tea, so pretty much raw puerh maocha. Laos (and Thailand) puerh style teas can be very good leaf material. This tea has good fast energy, but is not overly complex. Happily it has mellowed some since the last time I tried it.

Mapo is one of One River Teas regular green teas. From Hubei in Jianshi County, Mapo is quite nice, Mao feng-esque. This is a sample they sent me along with another order.
Last full dose of Golden Green tea from One River Tea.
Enjoyed a previous year's version of Golden Green Hunan green tea from One River Tea a lot, giving the 2022 batch a try. It's bigger buds than most of the green tea I've been drinking lately, so the initial 190 F was a bit low, up to 200 F for later batches. Nice meaty green tea.
Actually turned up this sample bag of One River Tea 2018 Shoumei Fuding white tea in a weird corner while I was cleaning in my office. I thought I had drunk all of my stock of this tea. Not sure how it got to where it was, but finding a very nice aged white tea is always a pleasure. My wife called the flavor, "grandma's closet".
