You know the kind of thing I mean - it's a recording, or rather a bunch of recorded clips it tries to play in response to what you say. And it says things that imply very strongly that it is *not* a recording.
An outright lie. Zero respect for the recipient, their time, and their intelligence.
I already hate MADD - they're a modern temperance movement, and want to outlaw alcohol entirely, despite the "oh we just want to stop drunk drivers" image they deliberately project.
And I've told them repeatedly to put me on their do-not-call list, and yet they keep calling. Where's that federal department to complain to...

skimmUnsure if this is a US only problem (we've got so many) but I am so tired of getting unsolicited texts for various business offers and real estate and whatnot. It doesn't matter if you're on the DoNotCall registry or not, because it doesn't cover SMS.
It would be a shame if someone put some energy into a reverse list and tool, where spammers were signed up for SMS alerts and communications for silly things.

theHastyOneI have spent the last 12-18 months marking text as spam and replying STOP and asking to me removed from call list for the previous owner of this number. This person apparently had a business with loans and debt and signed up some kind of lending offer. 15-20 calls/text a week. How do I make it stop? Change my number?
