Block BigTech, Adelaide@futurebird @wmd people think that i cannot be serious when i suggest this but basically the worst and most abused ai systems are operated by big tech (or the CAGeMAFIA eg. cloudflare, amzn, goog etc). therefore the only way to really stop the machine takeover is to block big tech en masse, it sounds crazy but due to how popular resistence works for every person/webmaster that blocks them it will have the effect of about 30 people blocking them, because u suddenly need to make special allowances for ppl blocking it.

I learned today that not only are people being arrested for protesting against the genocide in Gaza, but many are advocating the boycott of Google, Amazon and Microsoft, which have contracts with the Israeli govt.
If we are talking about an out of control Amazon i was told during the week that the website used to indoctrinate Australian teens to commit heinous acts of terror was served by Google, Amazon and Cloudflare.
To add insult to injury Google, Amazon, Microsoft and Cloudflare are the purveyors of almost all dreaded #AI #disservices on the internet.
If only there was a firewall to block these #technofascists, right.
There is #DFCA #Antitrust law, but it hasn't been updated in almost a year and BigTech are slipping through the cracks about 1% of the time, I've noticed. Also it doesn't block fastly, which seems to provide Amazon and Google with servers.

@torproject might want to clarify but their port53 catching system can't be toggled w a user friendly gui, i think. in contrast, i don't know how #dns redirection works with private vpns, some are gui applications, right? or are we just talking about the browser config and not the whole os? putting up firewall rules on a site might be too advanced tho... the #DFCA system teaches iptables which can read well, but it lacks a gui setup and easy updates, last i checked requires running a shell script. i think they plan to fix that iirc.
You said to keep u updated on addons so i'll just tell u there ***IS*** a browser addon that only blocks cloudflare, called Block #Cloudflare MITM Attack. but it only does cf and iirc, i don't think it use ip addresses but the http header. if interested you can read the source code by changing the filename to a .zip and uncompressing.

i like what you've been able to put together, yes it does lean toward private vpn, and i'm not sure whether a page around wifi modem setup is missing, but aside from those things its GOOD in my eyes! i like it!

@laprice @neurovagrant when does europe's #gatekeeper laws officially come into effect. After that you should be able to remove that G spyware, right? but knowing what kind of malware #apple and the corporate state put out i wouldn't hold my breath, i guess.
For PC there's #DFCA firewall that blocks #google, amazon, cloudflare etc spyware, but I'll admit i don't know anyone who has tried it on a phone. I reckon it'd be trivial to put on a linux phone because its just a bunch of bash commands to edit iptables and a few other bits to notify the user when theres a "phone home" attempt.
