My biggest and neatest project to date! This is a gift for my cousin. We lost my uncle (her dad) at the end of 2022, this is a temperature blanket featuring the low & high temperature for each day in January 1954 (his birth year) blues & white chosen because he (and my cousin too) are big Everton FC supporters.

3 months of my temperature blanket done! Due to the stitch I've chosen to use I'm getting a different colour variation on each side. One features odd days of the month & the other even. January at the top, moving down to March on the sofa seats.

10 days of lows and highs done for my small human's temperature blanket for his birth month. So excited to see it finished.

#Crocheting with a spreadsheet today. This is a temperature blanket again but just the low then high temperature for each day of my smallest human's birth month. Apart from the orange which is annoying me, this is definitely my neatest project so far.

#CrochetAdventures and it's Day 29 of my temperature blanket, which is also my eldest's birthday. I've decided to mark birthdays with a black row, in a slightly different stitch, with the temperature colour for the day running through the black too. Showing both sides of my blanket here, my chosen stitch gives a varied colour palette on each side and a close up of today's stitch.
My fingers were itchy to start something new once I'd finished my last scarf project, so here we go again ... This time a temperature scarf for my year of birth, different colour scale to my ongoing temperature blanket for 2024. This is January of 1984, only 12 months to go 🙈 #crochetuk #CrochetAdventures
#CrochetAdventures I found a jumper tutorial for my littlest human. Watched it through, understood all the stitches, seemed achievable so I decided to give it a go. It was a few weeks between watching the video & getting started. I've been plodding along with it despite thinking it all looked a bit off. Turns out I didn't realize I had sown the neck first, not the waist part 😂 so it actually looks exactly like a jumper should at this stage!! So I'm winning, but wow crochet is a wild ride đŸ€Ș
Excuse the lack of make up and the fact I don't really suit hats, but I totally made this myself! It's not perfect and I've learnt a lot from making it, but consider I only started crocheting about a month ago I'm just pleased I've created something that resembles what it should be enough that my 2 year old saw it and went 'hat'. #crochet #crochetadventures #beginnercrochet
