#CrochetAdventures I found a jumper tutorial for my littlest human. Watched it through, understood all the stitches, seemed achievable so I decided to give it a go. It was a few weeks between watching the video & getting started. I've been plodding along with it despite thinking it all looked a bit off. Turns out I didn't realize I had sown the neck first, not the waist part 😂 so it actually looks exactly like a jumper should at this stage!! So I'm winning, but wow crochet is a wild ride ðŸĪŠ
Obviously it's got no sleeves yet and I'm sure it's a bit wonky in places but I think it's definitely starting to take shape. I'm starting to think I might actually pull this off 😋
Further #CrochetAdventure update, I'm starting my first sleeve! The torso is complete and it totally looks like a jumper and it even looks like it will fit! Fingers crossed it keeps going well!
Final update of this particular #CrochetAdventure ... the jumper for my smallest human is complete. Is it perfect, nope. Can I list all the mistakes, yep. But the fact it looks like a jumper & I know how to make improvements next time feels like a massive achievement. Haven't tried it on him yet, but fingers crossed he's a fan ðŸĪž
So I think my #CrochetAdventure makes the little one look a little bit like he belongs in a hippie commune 😅 but I'm okay with that, fits with my vibe entirely 🙈
@followingfloss ooooooooo, I love it 😍 I am busy with a cardigan for my eldest!
@madgurl69 aw nice, it's so satisfying, wish I'd started ages ago but so pleased I finally gave crocheting a go. Good luck with your cardigan project hope it turns out just as you hope 😊
@followingfloss thank you 😊
@followingfloss I totally forgot to share the update with you! Finished it just before end of October, and kiddo wore it out to the big craft fair here that happens once a year! It's been on a fairly regular rotation for school as well. I'm so glad she likes it so much
