Tor to Shore | Cornwall Wildlife Trust

Tor to Shore is Cornwall Wildlife Trust's most ambitious project, made possible thanks to the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The project will create a thriving land and seascape spanning from granite boulders of Helman Tor, Cornwall Wildlife Trust's largest nature reserve, to the spectacular waters of St Austell Bay, home to important seagrass and maerl habitats.

A #seagrass bed spanning 359 ha (887 ac) was found during a survey of #StAustellBay off the coast of #Cornwall, #England. It's one of the largest known seagrass beds in the #UK.
