Ich würde sogar fast sagen:

Eine Funktion
g : ℝ→ℝ
heißt linear,
wenn gilt:
∀λ,z∊ℝ: g(λz) = λg(z)
∀y,z∊ℝ: g(y+z) = g(y)+g(z)

aber ich weiss nicht, ob ein mathematischer Vielosauf wie
@larsweisbrod
so streng bei der reinen Mathematik bleiben kann,
d.h. ob ihm die für diese Definition benutzte Notation hinreichend geläufig ist.

In this notation, how do you define a linear function g? Generalize λ,z∈ℝ to more general fields or vector spaces, as appropriate.

In the given notation, a linear function \(g: \mathbb{R} \to \mathbb{R}\) (or more precisely, a function that is homogeneous of degree 1, which is the scalar multiplication aspect of linearity) would be defined by negating the existential quantifier and inequality from the original statement. Specifically: \[ \forall \lambda, z \in \mathbb{R}: \, g(\lambda z) = \lambda g(z) \] This means

I realisated recently that my art process is rather unusual: I start with the background.
Either a piece of #FluidArt (#AcrylicPouring) which I painted and scanned in, or a computer-generated fractal-like image. (Two sources for the computer generated images: #fractals from evolvotron, or images I generated using #ContextFree, a graphics design language.)

Then I play around! Which is why I often feel like my art is just doodling. Some pieces have more intent than others.

The Scorpion and the Fox - Meredith L. Patterson - Medium

Once upon a time a Fox, traveling from one place to another, came upon the bank of a river. The current was steady and not too swift, and there was no bridge in sight. As it approached, a Scorpion…
