The upside to everyone else in the USA driving bloated SUVs these days is that there's almost always a great parking spot near where I'm going that enormous bargemobiles with six feet of overhang can't get into, which is therefore just for me. Plus, if the blumpniks pin me in, I have so much more space to manoeuver myself out.
