No one needs this in our compost!
Either take them off at the shop (maybe find somewhere convenient to stick them), or take them off when you put your groceries away at home. Much easier than digging through soggy peels and food scraps, and much better chance they won’t end up as toxins in our local food systems for generations to come!
ICAW 2025 LOCCAL Online Gathering
This month we have been running a _comparative_ radish test... No control group, so we aren't checking the viability of the seed batch, just the relative properties of compost from various sites across our compost network, based on what they sprout!
Interesting to observe how they hold water, the number of seedlings each, how healthy or large the foliage grows, and any other seeds or weeds that germinate.

You can put your foodwaste in someone else’s compost bin / worm farm / chicken coup, or put your bin up to accept waste from other people. Neighbourhood waste recycling! 😀
