The theme this year for the Barony of the Cleftlands {Not So} Regular {Not January} Event has the theme of "The Lord of Misrule Reigns" so of course we - the local troupe of fools - had to sign up for a performance time to stage a short commedia dell'arte play! A massive train storm has hit the town for days. Unwilling to wait any longer, Pantalone meets Brighella for a business deal. However, not only does the rain damage the signed contract but the goods are at risk when being moved off Capitano's ship. Under the cover of the storm, Isabella disguises herself as a magician to meet her beloved Oratio but they get lost in the fog. Meanwhile Vittoria worries that the rising waters will potentially compromise certain... "items" she wishes to stay buried. With the storm raging, chaos and confusion is in the forecast!

Last week we got some experience with this fantastical magical genre of plays when i Sebastiani workshopped the 16th Century scenario "The Satyrs" - and we broke out some of our new (and still unpackaged) wizard loot from Spirit Halloween's post-holiday sale exactly a month prior!
